Quitting the band has been bitter sweet for me. I love to play heavy music live but I also don’t want to give up my college education to play music full time. I’m glad to see that the band is making preparations to make this a full time thing for themselves. When I look back from when we all started to now, I see huge improvement and maturity. I will definitely miss playing with these guys. I think its really cool to look back and see how much we've improved. The thing I liked most about BL is that we had so much energy and passion in our music and no matter how good or bad of a show it was; that wouldn't change. I'm so blessed to have been able to record the E.P. "Always Rebuilding" with the guys as well as playing Doug's In Memory Show. I was humbled to see so many people come out to support him and the rest of Malignant Tide. Also touring with Malignant Tide two summers ago had to have been some of the greatest times of our lives; so many memories we will carry with us. Thankyou!
Even though I am resigning from BL, I will still be doing music at my friends church on Wednesday nights in the fall. I wish Bury Lexington the best of luck in their future. I am truely going to miss you guys. Thanks for all the great memories!
God Bless
Joshua Lehman
