Here's two videos despite our absence. We're working hard to gain some money for new shirts and pressing our CD. Also, we have not had a camera since summer so that's a big factor in the lack of videos. But, anyway, enjoy.

Recording: Day 3

Aug. 9th
Busy day. Sorry there isn't a decent amount of footage but we were in a big rush the last day. We tracked bass, vocals, and keyboards. We also re-amped the guitars which was a new and fun experience. It's where we take time to find exactly the guitar sound we want and re-record the tracks.
We also did group vocals for some tracks. We didn't head home until about midnight. Long drive. We appreciate everything Len and his wife did for us and we wish them he best.

The End of Summer
Well judging by the colder weather, the kids back in school, and the fact that "Gamer" is in theaters; it's safe to say that Summer is over.

Josh's Departure
This is a final farewell to all of the people that supported Bury Lexington over the last few years and the current band members. I remember when Brandon and I dreamed of starting a band, going on tour, and not worrying about anything. Those days were great; we practiced all the time and just wrote as much stuff as we could. If it weren’t for meeting Brandon and being in bands with him I would have never met some of the awesome people I’ve met over the years. I also would have never been encouraged to expand on creativity. Brandon and I always encouraged each other to be more creative and experiment with new sounds. I feel that I’ve truly been blessed to meet awesome bands and friends over that last few years in BL and wouldn't have traded these times for anything else.
Quitting the band has been bitter sweet for me. I love to play heavy music live but I also don’t want to give up my college education to play music full time. I’m glad to see that the band is making preparations to make this a full time thing for themselves. When I look back from when we all started to now, I see huge improvement and maturity. I will definitely miss playing with these guys. I think its really cool to look back and see how much we've improved. The thing I liked most about BL is that we had so much energy and passion in our music and no matter how good or bad of a show it was; that wouldn't change. I'm so blessed to have been able to record the E.P. "Always Rebuilding" with the guys as well as playing Doug's In Memory Show. I was humbled to see so many people come out to support him and the rest of Malignant Tide. Also touring with Malignant Tide two summers ago had to have been some of the greatest times of our lives; so many memories we will carry with us. Thankyou!
Even though I am resigning from BL, I will still be doing music at my friends church on Wednesday nights in the fall. I wish Bury Lexington the best of luck in their future. I am truely going to miss you guys. Thanks for all the great memories!
God Bless

Recording: Day 2
Aug. 8th
We got up kind of early so Brandon could finish his drums. Chris, Ryan, Brandon, and Josh went to a diner down the road that had good food but the lady at the register wouldn't let us pay separate. Apparently in New Jersey, waitresses are either too dumb or too lazy to split up the bill.
After the drums were done, we tracked guitars until the end of the day. Meanwhile, everyone else watched Cast Away and Ghost Dog.

Hot Dog Butt
Before you watch this just know that Bury Lexington does not promote kids like this but we do find them pathetically hilarious. This one time, a kid called our friend Jake Andy and started bragging about putting a hot dog in his ass. We filmed the conversation and decided to show it to the world. We've provided subtitles for those who don't speak "drunk asshole."

We got to Len's house in the evening and all we did that day was set up and track drums. And eat pizza.
Not the most eventful day of the weekend but here is some footage of Brandon tracking his drums.

Lost But Found...
Hey der,
Sorry for the lack of updates. After recording, we all just took a little break from life, I guess. Brandon started back up at school, Ian went back to his regular job, and Nick and I moved into a new place with my girlfriend Jessica.
Even though we've been gone from the blog, we've been working hard to make some new videos that we will be posting throughout the next month. So check back here weekly because we'll be posting videos of the recording, some sneak peaks of the new tracks, and some more random videos.
See you soon, and we hope everyone had a great summer.
Oops, one more thing.. we are fortunate to play a show that everyone should come out to on September 11th to kick off a tour for our friends in STS. They also have new songs up so check it out.
That's all for now, new tracks are turning out great. We can't wait to show everyone.

EP update (1)
Hey guys,
this is to whoever reads these and/or anyone who is not informed on what we've been working on as of late.
If you personally know us or have talked to us recently, you probably know about our E.P. that is being recorded in a couple weeks. Each of us are anxious to record something full and effective. There are numerous ideas flowing on how we want to go about this first album. We have been getting together to practice everything, writing and taking away, experimenting with different ideas and simply communicating with eachother to make this recording go smoothly and the way we want it handled. I hope everyone is pleased with the outcome.

South Williamsport Police Suck.
Okay, so the cops in Ian's area have no lives. Ian pretty much lives in a suburb where there is like no crime. The cops there pull people over for insignificant reasons and once they've wasted your time pulling you over they waste more of your time by claiming that your drunk or high when they have no proof at all. Well here is our proof that they think they're more important then they really are.

Happy [Late] 4th of July!
Yo, 4th of July just flew by and BL had a great time. We hope everyone else had a great holiday. We played a really fun show at the Ramada Inn in Milesburg on Friday with some great bands. Give a big hand to Russ who put it together and played with his new band Captain Quint, check it out.
So we spent most of the day relaxing and working on songs for the recording in August!! Pretty schweet. But yeah, we had a good time with our friends James, Micah, Ryan, and Nick from Slave To The Kill. We enjoyed some Killian Cook-out, watched the Williamsport fireworks from a parking garage, then headed up to the BL Mansion to light some fireworks.
Have to say though, the best part of 4th of July was seeing all the hungover people the next day. Like an old lady crossing the street wearing an american flag button-up shirt, drink in hand, stumbling, spitting, and plenty hungover at 2 in the afternoon.
DON'T TRY THIS AT HOME.. UNLESS UNDER BURY LEXINGTON SUPERVISION.

Chris and Ian's Near Death
Okay, so, not too long ago me and Ian went on a trip to Pittsburgh with our friend Ryan, his brother Josh, and his girlfriend Jerika. Saw some cool stuff and saw Manchester Orchestra. But while we were trekking around Pittsburgh we took an incline to the top of a steep hill. On the way back down we got stuck for like 8 min with some weird dude who was acting like he was meeting a date at the bottom. Oh, and he said his mom was an engineer. Yeah and my dad is Brian McKnight. Anyway, here is a video of Ryan and Ian pissing their pants...

Our Weekend in Punxsutawney
Hello everybody, the other month we spent a weekend with our friends Suneater and STS in the Punxsutawney area. We had a sweet time seeing friends and playing shows. We made a video of our time there.. hope it makes you jealous. Nahhh... could you imagine if we were like that? Oh yeah, and thank you to Mike and his family for sheltering us during that weekend. Punxy Phil's was fuckin' awesome! Here's to delicious diner food..

Post Numero Uno
So for the first post, we want to tell a story that has found its way into our everyday lives. Ever since we started playing shows with one guitarist (Chris) we've caused so much destruction to our friends, animals, instruments, our dignity, and ourselves. Some examples include hitting a groundhog in Punxsutawney land of the most famous groundhog, jumping through and throwing our instruments, and Chris has given Ian multiple injuries with his guitar.
But funniest of all, is how Ian ruined the best time of a young girl's youth... her prom.
During our friends, Suneater, at the Punxsutawney Community Center, things got... a little pumped up. Kids were flying everywhere and Ian decided to throw a half empty water bottle into the crowd which just happened to hit a girl right on the lip and not only split it but give her a concussion as well. Her prom was the next day. Enjoy... her pain.
